Digital Plotter Utility Software
The software generates Hewlett-Packard Graphics Language (HPGL) commands, most commonly used for the HP plotters. The HP-PCL language for Laserjet printers is also supported. The devices supported include, but are not limited to:
- HP 7475A
- HP ColorPro
- HP 7550A
- HP Laserjet III, 4, 4 Plus and 5
The software uses the multiple pen capability of the plotters to enhance the plots.
Pen 1 - Labels and axis
Pen 2 - Spectrum; interpolated curve for efficiency plots
Pen 3 - ROIs of spectra; data points of efficiency plots
An additional set of HPGL plotting routines are available for integration into user written programs (FORTRAN or C).
