About CANBERRA Central Europe
CANBERRA-Packard Central Europe GmbH (CPCE) supplies nuclear instruments to Central and Eastern European countries local satellite offices. Sales and service engineers assure full support to customers in Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Ukraine and former Yugoslavia.
Projects and Installations
In addition to standard products, many complex
turnkey CANBERRA systems have been installed
and are currently in operation in Central Europe
including:
- Gamma and Alpha Spectroscopy systems connected by PC and VAX based networks (NPPs in Dukovany, Krsko, Paks, Nuclear Research Institute Rez).
- In-Situ Gamma Spectroscopy Soil Measurement System (NPP Paks). The systems includes calibrations for different geometries to measure natural radionuclides and isotopes originated from fresh fallout, surface contamination or aged fallout.
- Whole Body Counters for In-Vivo dose measurement (NPP Cernavoda, Kozlodui, Institutes in Budapest, Ljubljana, Prag and Zagreb).
- Waste Assay Systems to characterize 210 liter drums (NPP Kozlodui, Krsko, Paks). The system reports radioactive composition and activity of drum segments, including density correction.
