History of CANBERRA UK

In December, 1998, CANBERRA acquired CANBERRA UK (formally known as Harwell Ltd), the instrumentation Division of AEA Technologies plc in the U.K., and Winfrith Safety Systems and Radiac. CANBERRA UK is comprised of two major product divisions - Nuclear Measurement and Assay (NMA), which specializes in waste assay, safeguards and D&D equipment, and Radio Protection Instruments (RPI), which specializes in traditional environmental and health physics monitoring instruments. CANBERRA UK is located at Harwell in Oxfordshire.
