3.2.3
- Advanced Course: COMPLEX BEAKER TEMPLATE EDITING
Reference: E-CBK-07 |
Introduction
The latest Genie-2000 software allows the user to enter
the sample geometry by selecting from a wide variety
of default geometry templates. The software also allows
the user to describe his own specific sample container
dimensions and shape by using the “complex beaker
template editing” option. This possibility, standard
in the Model S501, Gamma Analysis option can be used
for cascade summing corrections and/or LabSOCS.
Purpose
The purpose of this training is to familiarize the user
with the use of the complex beaker templates, how to
create a template and how to modify the template.
Course Content:
The training starts with an overview of the possible reasons
why a complex beaker template is necessary. Thus the use
in cascade summing corrections and LabSOCS is briefly discussed.
Next, practical examples are entered into the software
to familiarize the user with the creation and use of
a complex beaker template in the geometry composer.
