- Advanced Course: QA in Genie-2000 (S505 - Quality Assurance)
Reference: E-QAS-07 |
Introduction
Assuring the quality of the produced results is definitely
one of the major concerns for anyone involved in any
kind of analytical measurements. Gamma and alpha spectroscopy
are no exceptions.
Purpose
The purpose of the course is to familiarize the user
with the creation of his own Quality assurance files
and how to use the QA data correctly. More then just
explaining how the software works, this training handles
also a lot of the philosophy behind the use and the implementation
of a QA system for gamma and alpha spectroscopy systems.
Course Content:
Typical question like,
- What parameters to follow for QA purposes?
- What statistical tests to use on the different parameters?
- Why should the sample driven test only be used for
a limited time?
- What kind of QA measurements are needed per detector
- How do I implement a reliable background QA check?
- What is the recommended frequency for QA measurements?
- What source should we use for QA measurements?
- What to do when the QA detects an exception?
are all covered during this training session.
Next, a practical QA example is put together with
the participants to make sure everybody feels comfortable
in creating and using the QA package. Additional Information
