"FREEWARE" to
Explore the Nuclides
A Windows based self-extracting file (RADDECAY.EXE ~507
kb) which contains the install files for a full featured
WINDOWS application (DECAY.EXE) that provides instant
information on radioactive decay information for 497
radionuclides. Data provided include the half life, radioactive
daughter nuclides, decay chain series, probabilities
per decay, and Decay product energies for alphas, betas,
positrons, electrons, X-rays, and photons. The radionuclide
can be selected from an Alphabetical list, or selected
from a Periodic Table. It uses RSIC as the original source
of the data (essentially the same as RADIOACTIVE DECAY
DATA TABLES by David C. Kocher, Report DOE/TIC-11026
Technical Information Center), and with Grove Engineering
as the originators of the PC formatted files.
This application is is being provided as "Freeware" with
permission of the author Mr. Charles Hacker, Engineering and Applied
Science, Griffith University, Australia. This program can not be
sold, or offered as part of a commercial program.

large "FREEWARE" ( >32,000 Line) Gamma Library
(GAMMA.LIB)
GammaLib.exe is
a Windows based self extracting file (~362 kb) containing
the files. You will be asked "Would you like to
proceed with the extraction", then asked to enter
the "Target Path" (we recommend that you use
your directory e.g., "C:\Windows\Aptec-NRC\IsotopeLibs\").
You can use GammaLib with ISO_EDIT.EXE and Aptec
MCA Analyze / Supervisor Identify (S_IDENT.EXE).
GAMMA.PDF, in \gamma.doc sub-directory, explains how
gamma.lib was derived and the meaning of the TXT files. This
library is being provided by CANBERRA Co. as "Freeware".
All information about authorship and other acknowledgments
can be found in the file GAMMA.DOC when extracted. This
program can not be sold, or offered as part of a commercial
program.
Software for omniTrak
Ratemeter (omniWin version 5.01 omniTrak firmware
version 5.04) omniTrak configurations can be saved to disk and recalled
for later use using omniWin software. This is a "user
friendly" WINDOWS 95/98 application that not only allows
you to save and recall, but also to completely setup
configurations from WINDOWS and then download to multiple
(if desired) omniTrak units. New firmware updates can
also be downloadable to the omniTrak itself. |
