Supporting Coalition Troops on the Ground in Iraq

CANBERRA has been supporting the U.S. military presence in Iraq for several years.

One of the most prominent dangers to troops on the ground is Improvised Explosive Devices, or IEDs. Employed by Iraqi insurgents, IEDs are bombs fabricated from unconventional materials, and may include military, commercial, or homemade explosive loads. These bombs are triggered by a variety of detonation methods.

CANBERRA provides IED Countermeasures Electronics, or ICE, to U.S. forces to stop these devices from detonating.

Please contact us for more information about our IED countermeasures and detection ventures.
