The Homeland Security Surveillance System (HS³)
The Homeland Security Surveillance System (HS3) is the newest surveillance product launched by CANBERRA. Each system can handle up to four cameras (fixed-lens or Pan-Tilt-Zoom) and can be connected to a large variety of intrusion sensors used to trigger alarm-images: TTL switch type sensors, any detectors using Radnet protocols, RFID seals etc…
The HS3’s low power consumption and embedded GPS features make it possible to deploy it as a fixed or mobile system. Its core component, the Color Video Server (CVS), is a major evolution of the systems used in non-proliferation monitoring for over 15 years and will provide the same level of outstanding reliability for commercial applications.
We expect the HS3 to play a central role in many security applications where real time surveillance is required. The current projects are as diverse as securing railcars carrying spent fuel in France and in monitoring water utilities in Texas.
