Productivity and flexibility... out of the box

The
Gamma Analyst is designed for lab pro-ductivity. At every step of the
way, efficiency of operation has been built into the instrument. Yet,
the Gamma Analyst is flexible - letting you operate your lab your way.
"Dialogs are structured to let you quickly enter sample information and assay protocols for each sample..."
Automatic Sample Changer
The Gamma Analyst incorporates a unique and reliable automatic sample changer that maximizes productivity without sacrificing versatility. The Gamma Analyst sample changer automatically accommodates samples in different container sizes. Unlike competitive units where cumbersome turntable assemblies need to be replaced to accommodate a different container, the Gamma Analyst uses a sample conveyor that lets you mix samples of different sizes in the same sample batch. Using a unique sample carrier, the Gamma Analyst loads each sample properly and processes it according to its unique protocols.
"You can load the sample changer with enough samples to run overnight - or over a weekend - even if all the samples are of different types with different counting protocols..."
You can load the sample changer with enough samples to run overnight
- or over a weekend - even if all the samples are of different types
with different counting protocols. You'll be able to reduce costly overtime
during peak sample load requirements. The Gamma Analyst counts the samples,
keeps track of them, and ensures that each is processed in the correct
manner. Sample capacity is defined by the size of the samples - up to
12 large samples such as 4L Marinelli beakers, up to 36 small samples
like planchets and vials.
Versatile User Interface
Gamma Analyst innovations go well beyond the unique sample changer design. The user interface allows you to quickly set up sample batches. Dialogs are structured to let you quickly enter sample information and assay protocols for each sample. You can even begin counting samples in one batch while entering sample information for the next.
Assay protocols can also be optimized for throughput. Historically, sample counting times were defined by the worst case - count time was set high enough to guarantee that MDA was met for all samples - even though many samples required shorter count times.
The Gamma Analyst adjusts the protocol automatically so the desired MDA is reached without wasting count time. When the target MDA is reached, the count is stopped. Count time isn't wasted.
Network Ready - For Redundancy and Integrity
The detector, signal processing and controller electronics are all incorporated into the Gamma Analyst instrument, with ethernet interface used for data transmission to the host. Thus, the Gamma Analyst can be part of a lab-wide Proline network - giving you the ability to operate the instrument from a backup computer if needed. Also, 100% computer control of the signal processing electronics means that critical settings are protected by computer security. There is no need to be concerned about accidental - or intentional - misadjustment.
All of this capability comes in a single, integrated, compact unit with a space-saving footprint. The complete Gamma Analyst instrument occupies about the space of a typical office copy machine, an important consideration if your lab space is already confined or you are considering placement in a mobile or temporary facility. Also, the low-profile loading surface makes it easy for any operator to load the changer with large or heavy samples.
