Prerequisites: None.
Purpose:
This course is to instruct the student on the routine
use of the OpenEMS Effluent Management Software package to generate
release permits and other reports. Included in this course is an overview
of the OpenEMS software package and features.
Description:
This course provides an overview of the OpenEMS Effluent Management Software including the regulatory basis, the software architecture and features. Most importantly, the course takes the student through the steps involved in entering and processing liquid and airborne effluent release permits including a review of the resulting release permit reports. Entry of composite sample information and updating of released permits when composite results are received is included in the course. Regenerating and scheduling of reports is also included.
