OpenEMS Application Administration Course (SU-434-3)
Prerequisites: None.
Purpose:
To instruct the OpenEMS application administrator on the skills needed to administer the OpenEMS Effluent Management Software package. These skills include: setting the user authorization permissions, how to setup so that OpenEMS calculations are consistent with the Off-site Dose Calculation manual, setting up connections to OpenEMS databases and other application administration topics. It does not include training on Database Administratio
Description:
The student should have attended the SU-435-1 OpenEMS Operator's course before attending this course. This course provides a brief overview of the OpenEMS Effluent Management Software including the regulatory basis, the software architecture and features. After a review of the application administration screens, most of the time will be spent examining the calculations available in OpenEMS and the setup needed to implement them. In addition, configuration of user access to the features of OpenEMS, configuration OpenEMS Server to access multiple databases, how to examine the spreadsheets that contain the permit results and annual report generation are included.
