Description

The uniSpec is a fully integrated Multichannel Analyzer that contains everything needed to support an NaI(Tl) spectroscopy system. The revolutionary uniSpec MCA is the universal solution for all scintillation counting needs. Why? Because the uniSpec includes the high voltage, preamplifier power supply, shaping amplifier, gain stabilizer, ADC, and memory, all contained in a compact tube base, all powered from your USB port. This simple and innovative design eliminates the need for NIM, PC-based MCAs and an external power supply. Just ‘plug and play’– it’s that simple.

Using standard USB connectivity, networking multiple detectors to a single PC is simple and easy. Coupled with the powerful Genie 2000 software suite, the uniSpec takes scintillation counting to a new level. Just connect the uniSpec to an available USB port and start the Genie 2000 software and you are ready to acquire the spectrum.

NAI Screen ShotGenie 2000 Basic Spectroscopy Software is a comprehensive environment for data acquisition, display and analysis in personal computers. It provides independent support for multiple detectors, extensive networking capabilities, and comprehensive batch procedure capabilities.

The batch procedure environment provides the ability to define highly customized command procedures to fully automate counting and analysis sequences. These procedures can be used to customize the application to meet your site specific needs.

For dedicated applications Genie 2000 supports a user programming environment for custom development and user interfaces. All of the basic Genie 2000 functions are available as individual component objects which can be executed directly from a user program. Using these facilities, the advanced user can develop complete custom applications and user interfaces for Genie 2000.

The standards 14 pin socket will accommodate a variety of scintillation detectors:

  • CsI(Tl)
  • CsI(Na)
  • BGO
