Description
The Rack-Mounted Server Digital Imaging System (SDIS) was originally developed with the purpose of providing a commercial off-the-shelf system to be used in support of remote monitoring systems by the International Safeguards community. The system is Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional based, utilizing the RAS capabilities of XP for remote communications and downloading data.
The Rack-Mounted SDIS is currently used in support of remote monitoring. It is intended for placement in any location throughout the world, with the capabilities of adapting to the power source of the host nation. The system, designed to collect various forms of data (instrumentation, video, trigger, and environmental), stores the data and allows a user to access this information using the remote access capabilities of the system.
