Description

The BARA 31 is a self powered portable gamma alarm beacon. It is housed into a compact and tough case which incorporates energy compensated Geiger Müller detector, processing electronics, battery and alarms.

Visual and audio alarms are simultaneously activated as soon as a preset equivalent dose rate threshold is exceeded. A remote alarm can be activated too.

A graphic LCD display coupled with a four-touch keyboard allows an easy configuration of the system, a control of the functions and the display of equivalent dose rate.

Four indicator lights display the beacon operating status:

• Good Operation
• External Probe Battery
• Mains

External probes can be connected for remote measurements (up to 30 m) or to extend the measurement range of the system.

The BARA 31 battery life is 15 hours.
