Long Half-Life Solution Sources
All liquid radioisotopes are supplied as 5 milliliters of solution in
20 ml plastic scintillation vials with screw caps sealed with Teflon tape.
Each nuclide is carrier free and of the highest purity available. Each
is dissolved in sufficient concentrations of HCl, HNO3, NaOH or water to
ensure stability over the life of the nuclide. A label identifies the radionuclide,
the total amount of activity, the solution in which the nuclide is mixed,
and the date of preparation. Radionuclide solutions as listed are within ±20%
of the stated activity. No specific radioactive materials license is required
to purchase these liquid sources. Up to ten exempt quantities may be shipped
with any single order.
