RECORDS MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING SYSTEMS
Nuclear facilities are required to analyze the radioactive material which they generate, quantifying the relative safety or operational impact. Analytical techniques are well known, and CANBERRA's instrumentation produces fast and accurate results. Organizing this data, and related data emanating from other sources, in a fashion which allows efficient inspection and reporting is a fundamental requirement which can be extremely time consuming without access to proper computer resources.
But CANBERRA can help by providing cost-effective solutions for data management and reporting. Our Records Management and Reporting Systems are tailored to the needs of Radiochemistry, Effluent Analysis, and Health Physics applications. Four vital applications are available:
Open Chemistry Data Management (OpenCDM).
Storage, graphing and reporting software used to record data for monitored processes, such as those measured by the radiochemistry departments of nuclear power plants.
Effluent Management Software (OpenEMS).
Liquid and gaseous effluent permit generation program which performs dose calculations for site defined pathways to ensure effluent releases remain below regulatory limits. Monthly, semi-annual and annual reports can be generated for submission to regulatory agencies.
Health Physics Information Systems (HIS-20).
Recording and reporting of dosimetry data for occupationally exposed workers, and work control functions used at maintaining an effective ALARA program. Modules are included for demographic data storage, dose tracking, RWP generation, access control, survey and instrument records. All of this data is used to document a site's compliance with 10CFR20 or 10CFR835.
