Description
The two Genie-VMS Printer/Plotter Software packages are used in conjunction with
other software options for generating hard copy outputs of spectra, calibration curves,
QA control charts and Interactive Peak Search graphs. The packages are designed
to send output to a device connected to the VAX or Alpha CPU Genie via a serial I/O
port, either directly or through a
terminal server connected to a network. In addition, the software supports directing
its output to a disk file, which can then be copied to another VAX or Alpha CPU Genie
for plotting to one of its devices.
Plots can be generated in portrait or landscape mode. Other general characteristics
include:
- Plots are generated by executing specific DCL commands using the /PLOT or /GRAPH
switches
- Plot commands can be integrated into command procedures or applications
- The NDL GRAPH library provides general purpose plotting from user written programs
in FORTRAN or C
