HP-603-10 Comprehensive NRRPT Examination Review

Prerequisites: Experience in operational health physics or radiochemistry. Candidates planning to sit for the exam must meet the NRRPT requirements.

Purpose: This course is designed to provide a review for candidates for the National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologists examination. Others may find this is a good refresher of basic fundamentals and operational radiation protection principles.

Description:
The course features instructor presentations which are punctuated by discussions of practical applications. Periodic evaluations and reviews will be conducted to enhance the student's understanding of the material. Topics are covered in varying depth depending on their applicability to the exam. The student is provided with a series of practical exams with typical exam questions.

In addition to the ten-day course, a two or three day review is included for courses conducted on-site. This review should be scheduled immediately prior to the scheduled NRRPT regional examination.
