A review of spectral features and the identification of these features
in real spectra.
Course Content:
- Full Energy Peak
- Single Escape Peak
- Double Escape Peak
- Annihilation Peak(s)
- X-Ray Peaks
- Sum Peaks
- Backscatter Peak
- Germanium Escape Peak
The ability to recognize the various features that may occur in a gamma spectrum are then used to interpret “problem” spectra.
