Genie 2000/PROcount Operations Course

Prerequisites: None, however it is anticipated that attendees have a basic knowledge of radiation science and gamma spectroscopy.
Purpose: This course is intended as the basic training course on Genie 2000 systems utilizing the PROcount-2000 Count Room procedures.
Description:
This is a fundamental course for operators and managers of Genie 2000 systems that have the
PROcount-2000 Count Room procedures option. It covers basic operation of the PROcount-2000
menu system and includes discussion of important Genie 2000 concepts, including analysis steps
and analysis sequence editing. The optional fourth day includes system management topics,
PROcount-2000 setup and Quality Assurance database setups. A fifth day can also be added for
additional labs and discussion of other topics, such as report templates and customization.
