Prerequisites: Previous Genie 2000 training or equivalent experience is highly recommended.

Purpose: The SU-530 NDA-2000 software course was designed as an introductory level course for operations with the Canberra neutron counting system that could have optional isotopic (gamma) analysis components. Alternatively, based on student interest, the course could focus on Canberra gamma counting systems or WIPP applications.

At the completion of this five day course the student will be educated on the management and operational functions for a typical NDA-2000 neutron or gamma counter. Concepts are taught using a combination of instructor led lectures and extensive hands-on labs.
